This recently renovated property is closeby to the Hawaii Convention Center and the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The Hilton Hawaiian Village has many amenities that include 6 pools, jacuzzi, restaurants, lounges, room service, entertainment, shops, watersport equipment rentals, year-round children's program (ages 5-12 & fee), daily activities, luau, fitness room, spa, meeting room, wireless internet access and self & valet parking (fee). The rooms at the Hilton Hawaiian Village are very comfortable (all rooms will sleep up to 4 people) and offer air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee-maker, cable TV, safe (fee), hair dryer, iron/ironing board, high-speed internet access and a balcony. Travelers to the Hilton Hawaiian Village will enjoy all of the services and activities offered at this hotel. There are many shops and restaurants in the Waikiki area. All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel will be doing a rejuventaion project beginning on May 8, 2012 to last through January, 2013. These projects will include the following: final improvements of the Rainbow Drive (main drive into resort in May/June 2012); Tapa Tower retail space renovation (May-November, 2012); Tapa Pool renovation (May-November, 2012); building of a new Louis Vuitton store (May-November, 2012); Ali’i Tower renovations (soft and hard goods from July, 2012-January, 2013). The first part of the renovation to include the Rainbow Drive, Tapa retail space, Tapa Pool renovation and Louis Vuitton building will commence on May 8, 2012 with the erection of partitions surrounding the affected areas to allow for the safety of the guests. The Ali’i Tower renovations will start in July, 2012. While the Tapa Pool will be temporarily closed, the Hilton Hawaiian Village has three (3) additional pools (Super Pool, Kalia Pool and Paradise Pool) for guests to use as well as the Kahanamoku Lagoon and the expansive Waikiki Beach. The resort consists of 22 acres with most of the work being done in a 2-acre location. The resort will do everything, working within the practicalities of the situation, to minimize guest inconvenience. Noise levels may differ between certain dates, however. | ||||||||||||||
